Our final match of 2021 was held on December 18th at Paradise Outdoors. The weather was extremely cooperative with near perfect conditions. James Minturn remained at the top of the leaderboard scoring a 290-4X to take top honors with the Garand. Bob Lemke took first in the as-issued modern military category shooting 261-5X and Joe McMillian lead the unlimited modern military category with 281-4X. Our next event will be the annual awards banquet on January 22nd at American Legion Post 39 located at 403 Saint Andrews Drive, Greenville, NC. Doors will open at noon with lunch starting at 1:00. We will recap the shooting season, pass out individual awards, take care of club business and raffle off a Garand rifle to one lucky winner. Part of the club business will be the election of a new club president and treasurer as the terms of the incumbents is at an end.
Please RSVP for the banquet by January 19th so that we will have an accurate headcount for the meal. Also, we ask banquet attendees to bring either a beverage or a dessert.
