We closed out our 2017 shooting season with another outstanding match. It started out bitter cold: 26 degrees at about 7:30am, but it warmed up nicely as the day went on. In addition to all the familiar faces filling the relays, we had four new shooters on Saturday: Richard Martinez, Tyler Spring, Joseph Grabbert and Bob Balcerski. And one of the new shooters, Richard Martinez, was the match winner in the Garand category. Congratulations! And congratulations also to Dewey Hales for his win in the Modern Military category.

Happy holidays and happy new year to everyone! I hope to see you all on the range again soon!

Here are your Complete DEGS December 2017 match results. As always, thanks to everyone who turned out to make this a fun and safe match. And welcome to our new shooters!

TARGET RENOVATION

We are still looking for volunteers to help do a little work on the range Sunday morning, 21 January. The plan is to re-dig the target post holes to make setup a bit easier on range days. We'll start at around 8am and we'll be done in a couple of hours so we can be out of the way long before the range opens at noon. If you can help out (even if not for the whole time), email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

AWARDS BANQUET

Our next club event will be our annual awards banquet lunch on 27 January. I will send out more info as we get closer to the date, but I hope to see you there!
